RESISTANCE CLASSES
BaseRate
This is our marquee strength day workout. BaseRate is built around the 3 compound lifts, the Deadlift, the Bench Press and the Squat. Focusing on the basic fundamentals of each lift, we dial the exercises right back to the basics so we can work on technique and build on our weaknesses to perform stronger and safer lifts. BaseRate is where we start, how far you go after is up to you.
BaseExchange.
Our hypertrophy focused workout day that will have you building lean muscle and increasing strength gains on a daily basis. Using methods like drop sets, isometric holds and tempo sets, on these weight days you should expect a mix of all the variations that make lifting fun, enjoyable, and most of all, effective!
BaseValue.
Our weights class that focuses specifically on target muscles. This session will be just as much an education class as a workout focusing on breaking down the biomechanics of our target muscles and hitting them from every functional angle possible. A fun, targeted workout that will leave your muscles cramping for days to come.
BaseLine.
Bringing things back to basics! This weights day is all about the simplicity of lifting. Full body sessions targeting every muscle group across the body. Using isolation exercises and lifting techniques, this workout will really make you appreciate the art of lifting properly and getting more bang for your buck from each workout.
BaseStructure.
Our specialised strength progression session. Doubled as our strength testing workout, BaseStructure focuses on optimising strength development in a group training environment. Using the age-old strength methods, BaseStructure not only gives members the opportunity to lift heavy but also gives them the chance to focus on their technique whilst identifying issues under load. Identifying our weaknesses and getting stronger in them will help us prevent injuries. Learning more about your body and the way you lift is why we think this workout will be a favourite among many!
BaseSalary.
This session is the ultimate fitness assessment! 3 different workouts which will test everything from max strength to flexibility and cardio endurance to plyometrics. Designed for everyone not just the fit elite, BaseSalary is where you can set the tone for the rest of your training and give you physical/measurable goals to strive for.
CONDITIONING CLASSES
BaseCapacity.
The aim of this game is intensity! These cardio-based workout days are specially designed so members are deliberately caught short of breath through either short rest time or tailored exercise so the body is forced to adapt to the varying conditions it is put under. The intensity of the workout and the quick recovery will help you increase your anaerobic capacity getting you fitter, faster!
BaseLayer.
It’s you against you. These workout days are our scaled cardio workouts run at the start and end of each training phase. To have an effective training regime you need consistent comparisons and this is your cardio opportunity to do that. Running the same workout at the beginning and end of a phase can help maintain accountability and motivation throughout your health and wellness journey and help you set new goals every few weeks.
BaseTemperature.
Expect the heat to go up on this one! We’re putting your mental and physical threshold to the test by pushing them to their absolute limits. These cardio workouts will be designed and focused on purely seeing how much you can put yourself through and how long you can do it for. With benchmarks to try and hit each workout, BaseTemperature will not only test the newest person in the studio but see how hard the fittest can push themselves as well.
BaseJumpers.
Our full purpose plyometric and power performance class. This cardio workout just isn’t your normal jumping class. The definition of plyometrics is to exert maximum amounts of force over short intervals of time and BaseJumpers is all about that. Keeping the heart rate high but keeping performance maximal, be prepared to burn the calories in this one!
BaseDrop.
Our Saturday Big-Bang workout. This session drops exercises from throughout the week into one amazing session. With our training block focus in mind, expect this workout to be the ideal finisher to every working week!
BaseElements.
A true mix of weights and cardio. Our BaseElements hybrid class is designed to not only help you gain control of your lifting under fatigue but to help you understand movement and how beneficial building strength is to cardio effort. Once you learn and adapt to this you’ll find your training will go to a whole new level.
